A bit of background - the West End Trophy existed for many years utilising local and league races hand picked by the West End Trophy Committee. The results of which were then subjected to an age related performance calculation, seemingly formulated by NASA, designed to reward improvement over the course of the year. For our 25th Anniversary we decided to break away from this and instead hold a series of handicap races over a distance of 2.5 miles  - short enough to be accessible to all members of the club but with the chasing start, dictated by handicap, a sufficient challenge to all.

Established in 2009 each race typically attracts over 60 members of the club and is known as The Two Parks Challenge.
