This Wednesday we will be running the second of our measured mile runs. Please remember to bring along some means of recording your time such as a stop watch or phone with in built timer. For those who have not run the measured mile before it involves running a precisely measure straight and flat(ish) mile as fast as you can. This is run twice out and back with recovery time between. Your time can then be used for:

Predicting race time and setting training goals.

Gauging improvement.

Calibrating expected times for our handicap race.
