For all club races (Winter LRRL, Summer LRRL, Derby Runner XC & Round Leicester Relay) we are introducing a Captains Runner Award. This will be awarded '(wo)man of the match' style after each race by each. The recipient will be chosen by those taking part and the team captain and will be awarded to the runner whose contribution they team most want to recognise. 

The award comes with Kudos after the race, a mention in dispatches on Wednesday, on the website on the notice board and a free drink at the bar on the following Wednesday.

The first race to have a captains award will be LRRL summer league race 1, The Desford 1/4 marathon.
