As you are probably aware there are insufficient road running officials in the county which often leaves LRRL races short or with the same people doing the officiating all the time. UKA are prepared to put on courses but these are "where needed". We WILL have to get more officials trained to safely conduct our races so it makes sense to try and get a course near to us in Leicester rather than having to travel.
 
Could you in such case suggest 1/2 or more from your club that would be willing to take part in a course and become qualified? I will be  proposing at the next AGM that clubs who have active  qualified officials will get points added as happens in T&F. So get your members involved now before its too late!
 
Following the course, qualification comes from experiance rather than assesment or examination.
