Runners needed to hare races at the schools cross country events on Western Park on Saturdays 2 October, 6 November and 4 December. Fast 6 min mile runners are needed as these kids are quick over 1,000 metres but also any pace runners to be in the middle of races and sweeping. Races usually start from 9.30am through to about 11am. Ok to do 2 or more races. Please email: kim.richardson@aon.co.uk.

WER members have a long association of supporting these races. About 1,500 children attend – the biggest in England we understand. A worthwhile cause.
