A key feature of the life of the running club are the differing groups that run on a Wednesday club night.  Following some feedback from newer members of the club I feel there is a need to remind group leaders and participants of some key principles when leading a group.
  • If you have advertised a run at a particular pace, run at that pace.
  • If a group member is having difficulty with the pace take steps to ensure they are looked after.
  • As a group member if you notice somebody is in difficulty then take the initiative and run with them, ensure they get back to the club house safely.
